                Geoff Ormiston, MPT, OCS

Geoff received his Master’s degree in physical therapy from Northwestern University in 1992.  Since then, he has worked in a variety of settings in Seattle and on the East Side.  For the last 11 years, he has specialized in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation.  In 2003, he received his Board Certification as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.

What sets Geoff apart from other physical therapists in the area is his specialization in orthopedics and his commitment to patient education.  He strongly believes that education is the key to successful rehabilitation, and he enjoys teaching his patients about their injuries and conditions.  His patients have better outcomes because he not only takes the time to educate them, but he also teaches them how to prevent re-injury and works in collaboration with each patient to develop a long-term strategy for health and wellness.

Geoff is also committed to his own professional development and continuing education.  He continues to increase his knowledge base by taking continuing education classes and studying with other physical therapists.

Geoff bought the practice at the end of 2008 and has enjoyed the transition to owning a small business.  When he's not working, which is not often, he is hanging out with his family, skiing, adventure racing, mountain biking or working in his yard.

Geoff takes great pride in his ability to accurately diagnosis and treat a variety of injuries and conditions.  He enjoys being a physical therapist because he has the opportunity to work with patients who want to take an active role in their recovery.

Jennifer Gasperetti - Billing Specialist

Jennifer has been with Issaquah and Sammamish Physical Therapy for 9 years.  She has a background in banking and can answer nearly any question about our statements on the billing process.  She is a local product and raised her children here in Issaquah.  She has a great sense of humor and keeps all of us in line.  I am so grateful to have Jennifer with us.

Jennifer can be reached by phone at 425-392-4025 or by e-mail at jennifer@issaquahphysicaltherapy.com

Nick Cobble - Graduate Physical Therapist Assistant

Nick has just completed the PTA program at Whatcom Community College and is returning to us in a new role.  He will begin seeing patients in the next few weeks and will add a huge amount to the care that our patients receive.

Nick is the man.  Coming from a sub-standard educational system Nick surprises us every day with witty comments and an occasional intelligent remark.  His ability to find something to complain about is unlike most others in the healthcare industry.  He is, however, rather dedicated to assuring that he looks good throughout the day and he can often be found posing in front of the mirrors here in the clinic.

All of the above is all stated with lots of fun intended.  Nick is doing a great job of assisting our patients as they return to their previous level of function.  I feel very grateful to have him on board.

Nick can be reached at nick@issaquahphysicaltherapy.com

Kate Sheflo - Physical Therapy Aide

Kate joined Issaquah Physical Therapy in December of 2009 and has been a great addition.  She has 15 years of experience with the YMCA and held several positions while there.  She has a degree in Exercise Science from PLU where she played as goalkeeper for the National Champion Loggers.  She has coached soccer for years and assisted at PLU as a goalkeeper coach.  She has added a great deal to IPT and we are thankful to have her working with us.

Kate can be reached at kate@issaquahphysicaltherapy.com

Tanner Holmes- Physical Therapy Aide

Tanner is a student at University of Oregon and will be spending the summer with us.  He had been interning with us and was recently converted to a full-time employee, even though it is only the summer,  and is showing great promise.  We look forward to having Tanner with us for the next 6 weeks and will be disappointed when he heads back in the fall to run Cross Country for the Ducks.
